Stand in Resurrection Power for Your Marriage
Stand in Resurrection Power for Your Marriage “…who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.” — Romans 4:17 (ESV) This week is Holy Week, leading up to Resurrection Day, and there is no better time to anchor your stand in the most powerful truth of our faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Scripture makes it clear that everything we believe hinges on this reality. If Jesus was not raised from the dead, our faith would be empty. But because He DID rise, we now live with access to resurrection power. As you stand for the restoration of your marriage, this truth is not just theological, it is practical. Many of you are looking at situations that feel dead. You may see no communication, no love, no movement, or no hope. But the same God who raised Jesus from the dead is the God you are trusting with your marriage. Not only that, the same Spirit that raised Christ now lives inside of you. That means you are not just asking God to move, you are carrying His resurrection power within you. Your stand is not passive. You have been given authority, a ministry of reconciliation, and the ability to speak life into what looks lifeless. Throughout Scripture, we see that resurrection followed a declaration. Jesus called Lazarus out of the tomb. He spoke to Jairus’ daughter. Ezekiel prophesied to dry bones. Life came when something was spoken. This week, God is inviting you to stop agreeing with death and start speaking life over your marriage. As you walk through each day of Holy Week, let this be your focus: you are standing in resurrection power. What looks dead is not final. What feels impossible is exactly where God moves. Your marriage is not beyond His reach.
